The Elcometer 345 is a versatile, simple and easy to use gauge with a wide
range of probes suitable for many applications available in standard, right
angle and telescopic versions for both
Electromagnetic Induction and Eddy Current measurements of coating thickness.
Electromagnetic induction is suitable for ferrous metal substrates and can be
used for any non-magnetic coating on a magnetic base such as steel, cast iron or
ferritic and duplex stainless steel.
Eddy Current probes can measure non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals
ie. aluminium, copper, brass austentitic (nonmagnetic) stainless steel and other
similar materials.
