Water and Air - Differential Pressure Indicator
The
unit is comprised of a handheld pressure indicator with a remote transducer
manifold assembly designed for the easy measurement of Differential
Pressures in Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems (Non corrosive). In order to aid
the operation of the unit an “equalising valve” has been fitted to the
manifold assembly to allow the quick & accurate zeroing of the
instrument while connected to pressure.
The
unit has been designed specifically for its utilisation in the commissioning
& measurement of air and water systems.
Typical
applications include: -
-
Differential Pressure measurements across balancing valves.
-
Differential Pressure measurements across Orifice / Venturi
Metering Stations
-
Hydraulic Differential pressure across pump heads.
-
Chillers
-
Plus many more applications...
FLOW Measurements
When
used with the appropriate Kvs
values
the Digital Pressure Indicator can be used to calculate rudimentary flow
rates through orifice plates, venturi’s or valves etc.
