Overview

The Kane 9206 Quintox Combustion Analyser is a complete emissions Analyser aimed at the detailed analysis of combustion systems including NOX & SOX

Independently tested by TÜV SUD to EN50379 the Kane 9206 Quintox is a cost effective & versatile emissions monitoring solution. Customised to your specific requirement the Kane 9206 Quintox uses electro-chemical sensors to monitor Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Nitric Oxide, Sulphur Dioxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, and Oxygen. Combine up to five electro-chemical sensors with our infra-red measurement technology to monitor Carbon Monoxide (up to 10%), Carbon Dioxide & Hydrocarbons.

The Kane 9206 Quintox Combustion Gas Analyser can be used on a range of boiler fuel types, including Natural Gas, Butane, Propane, Wood pellets, 28 sec and 35 sec Oil

The Kane 9206 Quintox is broadly based on the KM9106 and whilst retaining many of its core features has been significantly enhanced. The most visible difference is the large graphical display on the handset. Up to 15 lines of text/data can be displayed. The handset links to the main analyser unit using wireless communications or the normal cable. It also has a USB connector to link to a PC via a cable and has an infra-red output to link to the portable Kane KMIRP-2 printer.

Every time the instrument is turned on and finishes its first fresh air purge cycle from inside the analyser, it measures and records the pump pressure just prior to the sensor manifold whilst the pump is at 100% flow rate. During service calibration & normal use, the pump speed is automatically adjusted to 70% of the purge flow rate to maintain consistent flow. The flow control can cope with typically 100 mbar suction in a flue and still maintain the same nominal flow as that present under ambient conditions.

Active Flow Control which compensates for sample pressure fluctuation & filter blocking by adjusting the pump speed to maintain a set sample gas flow rate. A main purge allows sensor zeroing without the need to withdraw the probe from the flue The KM 9206 Refreshes the sensors during long term monitoring and automatically protects the sensors from being over-ranged.

With a larger Graphical Display the KM 9206 can display up to 15 lines of text/data. With a wireless link from the handset to the base unit there is a cable free connection. GPS Location allows the user to exactly pinpoint the test location. Use the KANE LIVE software to monitor readings in “real time” with wireless and USB connection to a PC. A large internal memory stores up to 64,000 tests.
